I work with adults who want a “soft place to land” during difficult times. I will walk with you through difficult times and help you explore healthier ways of coping, dealing with relationships and develop a healthier relationship with yourself. I want to help you connect with yourself in a way that helps you feel resilient and compassionate with yourself. Often we loose sight of who we are, what makes us happy and how to look after ourselves. Frequently, through life experiences we have developed limited beliefs about ourselves and the world. Through psychotherapy we unravel false beliefs and reconnect with our wise and joyful self. This enables us to make positive changes, set boundaries, achieve career goals and create better relationships with friends and family,
I have a PhD in Counselling Psychology from the University of Alberta. I have specialties in Somatic Experiencing, Hakomi, and psychodynamic psychotherapy. I integrate CBT into my work with most clients.
